Graham Wilson

“If you take the attitude that it is not possible to do something, you have to prove it by doing it. The work I produce seeks to account for painting, by taking this attitude, against a tired medium. Using ideas that stem from existentialism, my practice is constantly vacillating and circulating, ridding paintings of their deliberate aspects, and repurposing them into new forms. In this format the paintings acquire a life of their own, containing a past, a present, and possible future.” – Graham Wilson
